Rooted in circular, trance-inducing rhythm and inspired by ancient musical traditions such as those of the Ituri Forest peoples, Vibe Ride transforms these primal concepts into a futuristic framework. The result is deeply spiritual yet unmistakably contemporary—a fusion of world percussion, electronic atmospheres, and improvisational jazz that feels alive, fluid, and radiant.

Rudolph’s ensemble—Alexis Marcelo, Jerome Harris, Harris Eisenstadt, Neel Murgai, Tim Kieper, and Tripp Dudley—embodies both intuition and precision, blending natural rhythm with electronic texture. Recorded and mastered by James Dellatacoma at Bill Laswell’s Orange Studio, the album breathes with organic warmth and intricate sonic color.
