Drawing on expansive synth pads, Fairlight-like stabs, acid basslines and Bailey’s whisper-soft vocals, the album flows between horizontal balearic moods (Burnt Moon) and more direct dancefloor moments (In Heaven), always guided by a sense of intimacy and wonder.

Inspired by Japanese artist Dream Dolphin and moments in nature—such as watching rainbow parrots in a flowering tree in Melbourne (Kodou) or moonlight glistening on ocean waves (Burnt Moon)—Bailey channels a childlike awe into luminous, uplifting soundscapes.

In Dream is a record about stepping into the unknown with curiosity and optimism, weaving together vivid textures and emotions into a kaleidoscopic vision of life. An elegant and heartfelt debut from an artist who invites listeners to immerse themselves fully in her world.
