Intended for release on Vimúsica, the project was preceded in the same year by the single “Princesa” backed with “Em Campo Aberto”, which became the first solo record issued by a member of Heróis do Mar, arriving ahead of later solo statements by Paulo Pedro Gonçalves and Pedro Ayres de Magalhães.
Planned as the natural continuation of “Princesa”, the album was ultimately shelved following the collapse of the label, leaving “Tédio” unreleased despite being fully recorded at Angel Estúdio with production by Manuel Cardoso of Tantra. Composed of eight tracks written and performed by Trindade, the record stands as a concise synth-pop statement, balancing melodic restraint with a clear sense of intent, and revealing a parallel path to the work he was developing within Heróis do Mar at the time.
