Written and produced across small windows of time—on buses, at work, during naps—Affectionately captures the immediacy of thought and feeling with diaristic clarity. Raisa K’s synth-based production remains minimal but textured, allowing her clear, conversational vocals to anchor songs that move between care, insecurity, doubt, trust, and love.

Though intimately solo, the album draws on a close-knit circle: contributions from Coby Sey, Marc Pell, and Mica Levi fold into the record without disrupting its tone of personal transmission. The result is a subtle, openhearted release that transforms the mundane into deeply resonant song.
