Created during the height of London’s Scram events and shaped by the influence of the late soundsystem pioneer Julian Fairshare, the EP pays homage to the capital’s deep sound system lineage while pushing far beyond it. "Praise" anchors the release — a heavyweight stepper cut built from rolling percussion, sub-heavy bass and smoky synth atmospheres. Its melodic core hints at UK drill while brushing against industrial and DIY aesthetics, resulting in something simultaneously familiar and forward-thinking.

"Guidance" follows with deeper, darker intent: towering pads, choral fragments and relentless low-end pressure conjure a mood that’s part Jah Shaka, part Muslimgauze — but filtered through the stark ambience of a Woolwich office block.

Closing track "Grotto", originally composed for a group show and reimagined here, is a dense, hypnotic sound collage. Angelic textures swirl around broken percussion and scattered Freetekno kicks, an otherworldly trip described as "what Curley in a K Hole might have sounded like."

Both a tribute to London’s dub heritage and a bold step into new sonic territory, "Praise EP" cements Conrad Pack’s reputation as one of the city’s most idiosyncratic underground producers.
