Originally written in the thick of Italy’s ‘90s progressive club scene, these two tracks channel the energy of nights at Insomnia and Imperiale — slow-burning, leftfield, and constantly shifting in form. Roby J and Omar J push the outer edges of trance, house and ambient techno, with a sense of deep studio craft and sonic patience.

Recovered from a long-lost tape marked “26 January 1996,” this release not only revives a rare piece of club history, but also pays tribute to the late Roby J, whose legacy continues to echo. A beautiful archival moment, lovingly handled.
