Across nine explosive tracks, the duo push each other into thrilling new territory. The opener "Andiamo" weaves marimba syncopations, tumbling toms and rave-coded signals into a taut, hypnotic groove that refuses to release its grip. "Rapido" escalates the tension with breathless batida propulsion and percussive vocal stabs, while "Sicillia" slows the pulse into a molten tarraxhina sway.
Elsewhere, "Mata" detonates into futurist jungle chaos, its eruptive percussion pierced by Nídia’s visceral vocal rhythms, and "Nasty" sees Magaletti’s drumming slip into combative, shadowboxing formations. The title track "Estradas" rides martial percussion into a hook-laced crescendo, and "No Promises" fuses tabla-like flourishes with Timbaland-level earworms, peaking in the mischievous bounce of "Ta A Bater Ya."
Closing with the deep nocturnal thrum of "Tutta la notte," this debut is more than a meeting of minds — it’s a visionary dialogue between two rhythmic innovators, where Afro-Portuguese futurism collides with exploratory percussion in a record destined to twist limbs and scramble synapses on any sound system.
