On *Capítulo Experimental*, the Lisbon producer dives deeper into his own off-kilter lexicon, pulling further away from the RS Produções collective with a set of dark-edged tracks that play with tempo, mood and texture. Tracks like “Teleguio” and “Sunset” point to a more mature, stripped-back approach to rhythm, while “Não Sabes” and “Dor De Barriga” inject alien swing and eerie funk into the mix.
The record lands squarely within Príncipe’s rich ecosystem of Afro-Portuguese club experiments, drawing subtle links to peers like Nídia and Lycox while clearly carving Narciso’s own path. There’s weight and propulsion, but also spaciousness—his use of silence and texture gives the tracks air and tension.
Whether conjuring dubbed-out tension or warped Jersey club echoes, Narciso makes every track unpredictable but coherent. *Capítulo Experimental* confirms his status as one of Lisbon’s most inventive producers, keeping things raw, physical and deeply weird in the best way.
