The Bug, Ghost Dubs
Implosion
๐๐ฃ ๐๐ก๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ก ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ค๐ก๐ ๐จ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐, "Implosion" is the crushing split album from The Bug and Ghost Dubs on the PRESSURE label, mastered by Stefan Betke (POLE) at Scape Mastering for seismic clarity. Defining a new form of spectral dub, itโs brutally minimal, hypnotic, and devastatingly heavy.
Kevin Martinโs futurist steppas meet Michael Fiedlerโs Ghost Dubs in a sound world that is immersive, introverted and raw. From the mournful spirals of "Alien Virus" to the doom-in-dub weight of "Dread" and the hypnotic repetition of "Midnight", the record moves between tension, atmosphere and pure low-end force.
Drawing influence from On-U Sound, Rhythm & Sound and deep system culture, yet sounding unlike anything else, "Implosion" is sacred and narcotic dub reduced to its essence: slow-motion hypnosis fused with bone-rattling bass.
