Um Argentino no Deserto gathers home recordings made by René Bertholo in the late ’80s and early ’90s, revealing a lesser-known side of the celebrated visual artist. Using modest analog gear, Bertholo created short instrumental sketches that lean toward melodic minimalism, often loop-based and gently repetitive.
