Originally pieced together using bootlegged samples and offbeat humour, this 1997 promo-only Ninja Tune cut became a cult object. Unofficial, unlicensed, and completely ridiculous, it delivers a patchwork of breakbeats, scratched cartoons, and surreal sonic skits that walk the line between comedy and cut-up collage.

A hidden weapon for the more adventurous DJ, or just a joyride for headphone explorers, *Scratchappyland* remains one of the weirdest and most endearing early Kid Koala documents — low-res genius with a human touch.
