Originally self-released on cassette and long thought lost, the album captures Ata Kak’s singular imagination at full stretch. Cheap drum machines, synthetic basslines and raw keyboard hooks collide with melodic highlife phrasing and emotive vocals, creating songs that feel both joyful and strangely melancholic. The production is unpolished but fearless, giving the music a direct, almost diaristic intimacy.
