Topium featuring Djenmbi & Klod Kiavué

The third volume of the Excursions in Gwoka series brings forth fresh sun-bathed rhythms, perfect for summer.

It is a collaboration between Guadeloupean legends Djenmbi, who is the synth composer of Akiyo's 'Deboule', and master ka player Klod Kiavue, alongside Montreal electronic twosome Topium. Their cover of the traditional folkloric song 'Bo Bay Lamen' (which translates as "to give a hand") takes it into lush soundscape territory with golden hues and gentle underlapping drums.
