Since the early โDub Over Distanceโ and โDub Pacificoโ transmissions, Dub Across Borders has built a signature of hand-crafted instrumental dub โ raw yet meditative, tribal yet sci-fi, deeply rooted yet forward-reaching. This latest plate continues that lineage, grounding heavy rhythm architecture in spiritual airspace.
โCome Rainโ opens with a rolling 160-stepper pulse โ bass drums knocking at the sky, low-end thunder foretelling storm. Its humid skank patterns and dubbed-out textures move like weather systems, minimal yet massive, shaking loose the dry heat of the dance floor.
On the flip, โYeh Sih Dubโ flows into renewal. The storm breaks to mist and growth: Buddhist horns, the pluck of the Khamak, and a slow, breathing bassline pulse through the fog. At 80 BPM, itโs ceremonial, weighty, and profoundly human โ dub as living ecology, sound as renewal.
Both sides expand 45Sevenโs ever-evolving universe of โspace bass,โ inviting you to inhale, listen deeply, and step into orbit.
