Isle of Jura returns to the sessions behind the rare 1983 LP *20 Minute Workout*, this time focusing on four unreleased pieces originally shaped by bassist and producer Andy Muson. Known for his session work with Yoko Ono and Ringo Starr, Muson took the reins after being brought in by film composer Ira Newborn, giving the Shiva project its distinctive West Coast polish.

These selections are given fresh life by Jura Soundsystem, who strips back the camp excess and amps up the groove. What emerges is a suite of sly, minimal disco cuts with taut arrangements and crisp production—perfect for extended sets or aerobic nostalgia reimagined. Following the label’s previous rework of “Never Gonna Give You Up,” this EP is both a continuation and a deeper excavation of a forgotten studio experiment.

With clean edits and unhurried pacing, *Aerobic EP* pays homage to the era’s rhythmic optimism while quietly reframing its quirks for contemporary selectors.
