Recorded in the Peruvian Amazon in 2023, this LP merges the vocal and instrumental traditions of the Wampís—chants, bird mimicry, water rhythms, and forest ambience—with Aboutface’s subtle electronics, sound collage, and textural composition. Rather than a remix project, the album stands as a dialogue, a mutual offering between two distinct sonic worlds.

Side A flows like a ritual, guided by natural rhythms and vocal phrases in the Wampís language. On Side B, Aboutface carefully expands these elements—field recordings, flutes, chants—into minimalist ambient zones and rhythm experiments, blurring borders between documentation and interpretation.

Released with care and consultation with the Wampís community, *Los Bosquesinos* is both a musical experience and a political gesture: an act of archiving, exchange, and respect for the Amazon’s living voices. Proceeds support cultural preservation and territorial defense efforts in Guayabal.
