Emerging from opposite coasts of the U.S.—Oakland and Conway, South Carolina—the duo taps into a borderless sound rooted in transatlantic Black dance traditions: new jack swing bounce, UK street soul shimmer, deep Chicago house percussion, R&B balladry, and vaporous ambient funk. Influences like Carl McIntosh, Teddy Riley, and DeVante Swing float alongside nods to Italo house and post-rave drift.

With Space Ghost’s unmistakable synth work and featherweight drum programming forming the bedrock, Teddy Bryant brings warmth and narrative with a voice that moves fluidly from satin falsetto to intimate, spoken-word vignettes. Tracks like “Some Things Last Forever” and “Unconditional” blend punchy 808 patterns with lush melodies, while “Shine” leans into lowrider G-funk filtered through dream haze. There’s also peak-time house energy (“Majestic Fantasies”), sideways boogie, and plenty of float for the afterhours.
