Reimagining the sounds of UK jungle through DIY electronics and pirated software in newly post-Soviet Estonia, Lu:k fused breakbeats with orchestral drama, chopped soul samples, and warping pads — conjuring both utopian energy and early techstep paranoia. Originally active from 1994 to 1997, the duo (Virko Veskoja and Tõnis Valk) channelled the feeling of a cultural reboot into raw, exploratory productions.

The compilation leads with the anthemic “Lovin U” (built around a Minnie Riperton sample), setting emotional tone before diving into darker territory with frantic cuts like “Demo 3” and the elusive “Drunk-Drive,” previously only available on a long-lost CD comp.
