Built around ESG’s signature stripped-down rhythm section — drums, bass, and attitude — “Moody” rides repetition with serious purpose. It’s loose, funky, and slightly eerie, a groove that feels as natural on the dancefloor as it does in sample libraries (and it has been, countless times).

A Bronx classic that broke all the rules and still sounds completely its own. Post-punk funk at its rawest and most hypnotic.
