Created by Richard Anthony Hewson in his home studio with a Roland SH5 synthesizer, the track combined cosmic synth lines, buoyant bass and playful vocals from Liz Hewson, whose warm delivery gave it a disarming, human touch. Figures such as DāM-FunK and Martin Iveson introduced it to new audiences in the 1990s and 2000s, while its inclusion on Frank Ocean’s Blonded radio show and its viral rediscovery on TikTok brought it to yet another generation.
