And like a dream it’s hard to pin down in time- the overall sound is not quite contemporary, and neither is it a vintage re-enactment. Taking inspiration from Christopher Priest’s novel A Dream of Wessex, the record echoes the 20th century take on the notion of virtual reality - one where participants escape the harsh reality of their world into a kind of consensus utopian future.
500 copies on orange vinyl with artwork by Kyron and Jim Jupp. Includes a free download code card.
