Originally created in the late 70s and early 80s, the work moves freely between naïve synth miniatures, spoken-word fragments, bent pop gestures and strange, flickering atmospheres. Charlier treats music as extension of his multimedia practice — playful, critical and knowingly unconventional — resulting in tracks that feel like audio collages from an alternate art history.
