Released in 1992, this was the debut in the Maurizio series from Mark Ernestus and Moritz von Oswald, stripping techno to its barest elements while injecting a sense of spatial depth and dubwise atmosphere that was entirely new at the time. A 1992 techno classic w/ eternal, beautiful UR version, it bridges Berlin minimalism with Detroit’s soulful futurism in stunning fashion.

With its rolling groove, endless pulse, and hypnotic minimalism, *Ploy* marked the transition from raw Berlin club energy to a deeper, more meditative language of sound.
