Circle City Band

Circle City Band was a mid-80s boogie-funk outfit from Indiana on the USA. They put out only three singles, while an album of gems was also curated by Luv N' Haight in 2012.

Both of these singles were standalone singles in 1983 and 1984 as well as making it on that album but they get fully and proper reissue treatment here by Backatcha. 'Magic' is full flavour, deep cut disco funk with rolling drums and rugged bass riffs as well as beautiful vocal harmonies. 'My Place' keeps the positive moods with more glossy production and silky vocals.
