𝘼 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩-𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙙𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮, Telepathic Fish captures the spirit of the early 1990s underground scene that helped shape Warp, Ninja Tune and Rising High.

Hosted by the Openmind collective — Chantal Passamonte (Mira Calix), David Vallade, Mario Aguera and Kevin Foakes (DJ Food) — with support from Mixmaster Morris and Matt Black of Coldcut, the parties transformed South London’s backroom chill-outs into immersive happenings. Between 1992 and 1995, Aphex Twin, Andrea Parker, Tony Morley and Global Communication all passed through, while the crew’s fanzine *Mindfood* and Coldcut’s *Solid Steel* radio show helped document the movement as it unfolded.

This richly illustrated release includes a 20-page history with photos, artwork and memorabilia, as well as personal track selections drawn from the original sets. Long-deleted and hard-to-find gems from Caustic Window (Richard D. James), Tranquility Bass, Spacetime Continuum and Global Communication feature prominently, forming an essential snapshot of a scene that defined the language of ambient club culture.
