Produced by Michel Bibeau (Pluton & Humanoids) and Ralph Mashats (Fitz Roy), these tracks were cut at Studio 21 with Elaine Desjardins on vocals. “Energy” is upbeat and raw — think 808s, TB-303 squelch, and earnest hooks that land somewhere between early house and lo-fi synthpop.

On the B-side, “Contrôle” slows things down, riding a laid-back groove with sunny synth licks and subtle tropical flair. Both tracks carry that unmistakable DIY warmth of early '80s North American disco experiments.
