Created in the wake of Ras G's passing, this release is less an album than a deeply personal act of mourning. Kutmah channels grief and reverence into raw, unfiltered instrumentals β glitchy loops, deep kicks, outer-space textures β speaking back to a departed friend in the only language that made sense.
Mastered by Zeroh and overseen by close collaborators like Black Monk, Ron Stivers and Olan, this project is framed not as closure, but as connection. The cover image by B+ and layout by Stephen Serrato add visual weight to the sonic tribute β an offering made in the face of loss, created before the world descended further into chaos.
These beats donβt seek perfection; they pulse with feeling, fragments of memory and cosmic dust. They echo Ras Gβs own explorations of Afrofuturism and beat science β a final transmission, orbiting still.
