Inspired by the mythic hare-spirit from “Watership Down,” the album leans into Hansson’s gift for atmospheric storytelling: airy keyboards, pastoral motifs and subtle percussive pulses that evoke open fields, twilight movement and small moments of wonder.

Lightly psychedelic yet grounded in melodic clarity, “El-Ahrairah” distils the qualities that made Hansson’s 70s output so cherished — a sense of gentle adventure, luminous tone and a world-building instinct that turns instrumental sketches into vivid, transportive scenes.
