Pulled from the “Undercover” era, the 12" format gives the track its full monstrous shape: extended percussion breaks, punchier bass, sharper edits and more room for the song’s spoken-word tension to uncoil. Guitars slash in and out of the mix, while the rhythm section drives with a swagger closer to post-disco club energy than classic Stones grit.

Often overlooked but cherished by leftfield rock and alt-disco selectors, “Too Much Blood” on 12" stands as one of the Stones’ most adventurous detours — eccentric, rhythmic and surprisingly dance-floor-ready.
