Chicago-born but firmly aligned with the raw techno cadence that defined Djax-Up-Beatsโ golden run, Harper sculpts drum-machine pressure into something trippy and physical. The kicks thud with analogue grit, hi-hats slash dry and metallic, and synth lines wobble in a way that feels both unhinged and tightly coiled โ like a warehouse vision caught between sweat, smoke and strobing light.
True to its title, the track opens into zones where rhythm and psychedelia merge: spirals of acidic tone, echoed claps, and looping motifs that build tension without ever losing propulsion. Itโs mid-90s techno in its purest form โ functional, freaky and fiercely hypnotic.
โOrgasmic Spaceโ remains a cult favourite for DJs who favour the harder, hallucinatory end of the Djax spectrum: a stripped-back tool that still hits with all the intensity of a small-hours time warp.
